World Cup T-Shirt Design Contest Submissions due May 15, 2014 SUMMARY Upper 90 is looking to harness the design talent of the NYC soccer community in order to produce the best range of custom 2014 World Cup t-shirts. Winners will receive: • $500 Upper 90 gift card • Design credit printed on shirts • $1 for every shirt with their design sold between June 1st and July 15th. (subject to revenue share agreement) Designs should be submitted as vector art on the attached PDF, please only use the color palette indicated. Designs should reflect inspiration from any of the following: • • • •

2014 World Cup In Brazil New York City Soccer A specific World Cup team or player Brazilian art, music, food, culture

How to Enter: (1) Fill out and sign entry form on the last page of this doc and email it as a PDF along with the design PDF to [email protected] by May 15th, 2014 at 11:59 PM (EST). Official Rules: 1. Must be 18 years or older to enter 2. May Submit up to two designs per person. 3. Submit only original designs for the front of a t-shirt. Designs must not contain any copyrighted material and cannot have been submitted for any other design competitions. 4. The winning designs will become property of Upper 90 Soccer when selected at which point winners will receive the prize and revenue share agreement. To be eligible to enter and win, entrants must be 18 years of age or older as of April 1st, 2014. Employees of Upper 90 Soccer and its affiliates as well as members of their immediate family and persons living in the same household of each are ineligible.

 

Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to all federal state and local laws and regulations. REVIEW & SELECTION 1. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by Upper 90. 2. There will be up to 5 winners. 3. Judging criteria is based on: creativity, originality, and best representation of the design inspiration listed above. 4. Original vector artwork file must be provided if design is selected. 5. Finalists will be required to provide reference files showing design progress (sketches, drafts, etc) 6. Winners will be notified by email and will be publicly announced on or before June 1st via twitter @u90soccer NOTIFICATION & PRIZES 1) The winners will be notified by email before or by June 1st, 2014 2) The winner will receive a $500 Upper 90 Gift Card and a share of the revenue from every t-shirt with their design that is sold between June 1st and July 15th subject to a separate revenue share agreement. The t-shirts will be printed and sold in all Upper 90 retail outlets as well as online at www.u90soccer.com. 3) All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. An IRS 1099 tax form will be issued to Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more. Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, with venue and jurisdiction in New York County, NY and all claims must be resolved in the courts located in New York County, NY. By entering, entrants/winners agree: (1) to release the Sponsor and Administrator (“Releasees”) and their agents from any and all claims, injuries, liability, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of any prize or participation in this Contest; (2) to be bound by the Official Rules; (3) that the decision of the Sponsor is final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest; (4) to the use of their names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes solely in connection with this contest.
