It starts off quite simple but eventually snowballs into an immersive storyline and difficult multiplayer group tasks. You can start off the Foreman Chivos section alone, but once you get to the Kubaza Beetle Cavern you must be in a powerful group of at least 4 level 80+ players to complete some of the objectives. It is recommended you bring a full group of 8 level 90 players, especially for the final instances of the quest, and be prepared to make multiple attempts until you get it down pat.

NPC LIST AND BESTIARY As inhospitable as Mustafar may seem, it still is home to many creatures as well as a great number of bandits, raiders and force sensitive npcs who will have no hesitation to rid of you while undertaking their business on the planet. This section of the guide will provide a comprehensive list of creatures and npcs alike, as well as their level, areas they may be found and their loot and credit dropping potential. This way, you will know what you are up against and will be able to target the mobs you may need for quest or loot purposes.
Creatures Mustafar’s native inhabitants are just as hostile as its environment. Most creatures on the planet, with very few exceptions, are always agressive. This means that anything conned green and above to you will definitely aggro you if you come too close. The spawns on the planet are also very dense especially in areas like the Burning Fields and Tulrus Isle, ensuring no lack of mobs to fight. As far as credit and loot potential are concerned, creatures are the lowest on the list. Rendering no credits and only various creature parts as loot, the only cash to be made off them is by trading in the parts at the merchant in the Mensix facility. While each part only goes for an amount of 50 – 200 credits, if you are doing a lot of killing the pieces will add up to a decent amount of credits after a while.

Kubaza Beetles Most of these creature types are Elite, making them tougher fights. Their small size and hit boxes make them harder to hit at long ranges. Npcs The recent shifting in Mustafar’s volcanic surface has unearthed ruins and structures of a time long forgotten. The draw of wealth and the prospect of finding ancient technology has attracted many to the volcanic moon – some with the intent to study, some with the intent to make money and others seeking power. Rather than roaming freely, most npcs on the planet are clustered together in certain places such as ruins, caves or camps. This makes finding the right npc a lot easier, as you can travel to a specific spot and always find the type of npc you want to kill. When it comes to loot and credit earning potential, npcs are much better for farming. Because they are humanoids they carry credits and other sometimes useful items on them. For the most part, the npcs on Mustafar drop items like lava tongs, lava rocks and pieces of onyx jewelry which can all be sold to the merchant at Mensix for 50 – 200 credits each for quick cash. The npcs on Mustafar also have an increased range of credit dropping, from 200 to about 2000 credits and the chance to drop glowing items which are sellable and used in Chu-Gon Dar Cube recipes. Keep in mind that if a mob is force sensitive you should treat it with a little more caution than you would a non force sensitive of the same level and elite rank.

Boss Mobs These guys are the best of the best and are among the most powerful mobs in the game. Most of the boss mobs on Mustafar are required for quests and have long spawn timers. Some can only be found in instances.

The Boss mobs play a dual role, however. Loot is the key here, as their high levels and elite status allow them to hit the highest section of the loot tables when contemplating loot drops. For this reason, the boss npc mobs all have good chances to drop high end glowing items, modded clothing and in many cases items or equipment specifically held by them. This makes them fairly desirable when it comes to farming for loot. Due to their potential loot drops and quest afilliations, most of these npcs are on random spawn timers which can be anywhere from 45 minutes up to in excess of 4 hours to avoid campers looting them over and over again. Always bear in mind that you may be in for a long wait for them to spawn. The following setup will be used for each boss: Spawn point: The waypoint or instance where the mob can be found.
