Written Examination    Exam Pattern : ​ Scheme of Uttarakhand Police Constable written exam will be as  follows :    1. The written test will be multiple choice objective type.  2. There will be a composite paper of total 100 marks.  3. There will be 70 and 30 marks of General Knowledge and Hindi Language  respectively.  4. 01 mark shall be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 marks  deducted for every wrong answer.    Exam Syllabus :​  Uttarakhand Police Constable Syllabus is as follows :    General Knowledge :​  History, Geography and Socio Economic development of  Uttarakhand and India. Knowledge of current events of National and International  importance and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific  aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of  any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian  culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.

Hindi Language : ​ In addition to the testing of candidate’s understanding and  comprehension of the Hindi Language, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence  Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc. would also be covered.
