Determine the maximum suction lift if separation occurs at 2.5m water (abs). Assume atmospheric pressure = 10.0m of water (abs). 16. Draw a neat sketch of a hydraulic jack used in automobiles and explain its working. 17. A hydraulic press, operated by a lever has 3cm diameter plunger and leverage is 10. Find the diameter of ram required to raise the load of 15 MN when the force applied is 20 kN at the free end of lever. Assume the losses are 20%. ******
