Perform the following steps: Have each person in the group obtain fifteen 3 x 5 cards. Decide on a starting point that is the same for everyone. Each person must now decide on a different finishing location that is anywhere in the room and does not have to be on the floor. Each person, starting at the same point, must provide 15 steps that lead to his/her finish point. A distance and direction must be written on each 3 x 5 card so that when all 15 cards are put in order, the cards will provide a 15 step set of instructions to finding your finish point. To help simplify, use only directions of North, South, East, West, Up, or Down. Do not use any angles other than 90 degrees and do NOT number the cards in the order you use them. After you have competed the 15 cards, bring them to the instructor and follow his/her instructions. Using the set of cards given to you, find the location of the other person’s finishing point. Using your original cards, complete a vector treasure map that shows all 15 card directions and magnitudes on the map. Calculate the displacement vector including the magnitude, direction, and work shown for your calculations.
