Prof. Dr. Paolo Fornasiero 2016 Heinz Heinemann Award Lecture University of Trieste, Italy Prof. Dr. David Farrusseng 2016 International Catalysis Award Lecture Institut de recherches sur la catalyse et lenvironnement de lyon (IRCELyon), CNRS , France
As a welcome addition, Prof. Dr. Fornasiero was assigned with the prestigious 2016 Heinz Heinemann Award, which was presented by Prof. Dr. Avelino Corma, CSIC, Spain, Premio Principe de Asturias awardee, and globally recognized for his research contributions to the field of Chemistry.
Prof. Dr. Paolo Fornasiero. Under the theme of Catalysis for the Sustainable Development of the World, the ICC 16 featured the crucial roles of catalysis science and technology in improving the efficiencies of energy production and utilization of fossil resources, developing renewable energy, and abating / eliminating pollutants emission to the environment. The congress served as a platform to exchange new ideas and discuss the advances in all areas of catalysis, based upon 6 main areas: Catalytic Mechanisms, Catalytic Materials, Catalysis for Energy, Environmental Catalysis, Catalysis for Chemical Synthesis as well as Cross-Disciplinary matters.
