TO:

Weatherization Assistance Program Grantees

The 2014 Energy Partnerships Conference organized by Economic Opportunity Studies is being held on August 6-7, 2014 at the American Institute of Architects, 1735 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. This event is designed to bring Weatherization providers, energy professionals, and private partners together for an understanding of the changing resources and practices in the energy services markets and public programs, including important developments in the utility markets and regulation. Attendance at this event is considered an allowable use of training and technical assistance (T&TA) funds by Weatherization Assistance Program network organizations. The meeting may be accessed online from any location as well as attended in person in Washington, DC. In addition to providing tools and concepts for state and local grantees to use when seeking non-federal resources to leverage with the WAP, the event will test tools for assisting offsite participants in informal networking with speakers and other attendees, providing lower-cost methods for professional exchanges in times of constrained travel and training budgets. To find out more information about the meeting, please visit the event website www.eospartnershipconference.org.
