Sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Language and Literacy Wednesday, April 25, 2012 6:30-8:30 PM Chartwell School, McMahan Hall 2511 Numa Watson, Seaside, CA 93955 About the Workshop: In this workshop, we will use strategies from Richard Lavoie’s book, It’s So Much Work to Be Your Friend, to discuss how parents and educators can help students navigate the social issues that are present in school and on the playground. Without direct instruction, many students find it hard to develop friendships and find social success and this workshop will help you find practical advice in how to assist children in school and at home.
