Prayer Requests ~ Special Needs ~ Healing ~ Sue Bruce’s Granddaughter Prison Ministry ~ addresses on the Bulletin Board for fellow members in prison. Please encourage them with cards. Would you share your faith with those who are ready and willing to listen? We are looking for committed men and women with a passion for souls who would be trained and mentored to minister to the forgotten ones who are in our local jails. Pathfinder Fund Raisers ~ Chattanooga Lookouts Tickets ~ last chance for tickets for tomorrow’s game @ 2:15. Tickets are $5 and proceeds benefit your Pathfinder Club! Come out and help our Pathfinders reach their goal of selling 250 tickets! Aluminum Can Collection ~ our Aluminum Can Container is on the right of the front doors of the church. Please and bring your cans to help us raise funds to cover expenses for the Union Camporee in the fall. Thank you! LCA Pre-Registration for ’16 – ’17 and Education Fair ~ tomorrow, Sunday, April 24, from 4 - 5 pm in the LCA Gym. Come hungry and enjoy a dinner fundraiser, hosted by Home and School. Area Announcements Apison Tornado Memorial / Celebration ~ You are invited to join in a memorial commemorating the five-year anniversary of the April 2011 tornadoes that devastated parts of Apison and Cherokee Valley. The event will take place this afternoon, April 23 at 1 pm at the Apison-Cherokee Memorial at the corner of London Lane and East Brainerd Rd. Refreshments and fellowship to follow. Sunshine Bands ~ of music, ministry and friendship are welcome at The Lantern of Collegedale on the 2nd and 4th Sabbaths of each month at 3pm. Nicole, along with her husband Alan, runs Heart Thirst Ministries, (heartthirst.com) a Biblical counseling service. She holds a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling and is currently working on a master’s in Pastoral Ministry. All are welcome! 55+ Club Monthly Meeting ~ will be Sunday, May 1, at the Collegedale SDA Church fellowship hall at 12 noon. Dale Walters, head of the SAU Technology Department will speak about "Economical Car Care". Food should arrive by 11:30. WELLkids Summer Camp ~ Keep your kids moving and exploring the great outdoors this summer with "WELLkids in the Wild," a summer camp for kids at Southern. Each week-long session offers adventures facilitated by graduate students in the university's Outdoor Leadership program. Activities include rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, ropes course, caving, rafting, and more. Camps are held June 6-10 and June 27-July 1. Spots are limited, so don't wait! [email protected] Adelphos ~ a community-based non-denominational Christian vocal group of young men originally founded in Staunton, Virginia, is re-establishing in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Adelphos will consist of 8 to 16 singers and an accompanist. Vocalist positions are open to young men post high school through 20’s. The accompanist position is open to any age, male or female.
