Continue to pray for healing. Sue Bruce ~ Since Thanksgiving, she has been having more and more trouble with her MS. Jan. 4 she began having vision loss in her left eye; multiple physicians see nothing wrong internally. Next step, Neuro-ophthalmologist at Vanderbilt. God is in control. Pray for her to graciously accept His Will. Donnelly Family ~ as Tom's mother passed away on Jan 22. Remember them in prayer during this difficult time. Odell Family ~ Leona fell a few weeks ago and had to have surgery to repair a broken hip/leg. Please pray for her as she recovers. Steve Springer's granddaughter Maya ~ was born preemie and has overcome many hurdles. Please pray as she grows.

Brailsford Baby Birth Announcement ~ Whitney Brailsford and family would like to announce the birth of her baby boy Josiah Maurice Moten. Josiah Maurice made his debut on Jan 4th at 1:33 am, weighing 7 lbs 12 oz. The Brailsford family would also like to share their much appreciated gratitude and thanks to all who gave baby gifts, extended heartfelt prayers and well wishes during this special time. Evening Anthem Vespers ~ is presenting a special "Hymn Sing" on Sabbath, Feb 10, at 6 pm. Pegi Flynt and Mary King will lead out as we sing great hymns of our faith to close the Sabbath. Fisk Jubilee Singers in Concert, Feb 10 ~ Southern Adventist University welcomes the Fisk Jubilee Singers for a concert beginning at 6 pm in the Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists. This group began touring in 1871, representing the first American university to offer a liberal arts education to students regardless of color. The two-time GRAMMY-nominated Fisk Jubilee Singers have won a Dove Award and have been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame as well as the Music City Walk of Fame. ARW (Adventist Retired Workers) ~ will host Jennifer LaMountain at its upcoming function on Sun, Feb 11, at the Collegedale Church Fellowship Hall. The day's theme is "Love." A generous offering will help defray expenses for our guest musician. Come at 11:30 am for great fellowship, inspiration and a potluck lunch (bring your favorite potluck dish). See you there. Collegedale Little League and Summer Softball ~ is swinging into action for a great 2018 season! Registration is open at cdalesoftball.com.
