Apison Church Fall Festival ~ Oct 8, 3-6 pm. Great opportunity for fellowship, food and fun! FREE admission outreach event, the only requirement is a nonperishable food item or cleaning supply to benefit "Heaven's Bounty." Fundraiser opportunity for pathfinders, youth and any other ministry that is interested. Fun, safe, family environment for friends and family to celebrate the fall season. Prison Ministry ~ please find addresses on the Bulletin Board for fellow members in prison and encourage them by sending cards. Would you like to share your faith with those who are willing to listen? We are looking for committed men and women with a passion for souls to be trained and mentored to minister to the forgotten ones who are in our local jails. Church Campout ~ please pray for all those attending the campout this weekend. Apison Hour of Prayer (AHOPe) ~ join us as we seek the Holy Spirit for our lives, our church, the world church and government leaders. Sabbath mornings we meet in the Church Library at 8 am. On Sunday mornings at 8:30 am, join us by calling 712-775-7031 and use access code 682-097-212# Kids In Stitches ~ new hours Mondays 9 - 3 & Thursdays, 9 - 1 at the church. Feel free to bring your lunch! Acts of the Apostles Study ~ continues Fridays at 6:30 pm at the church. Please read chapter 15 ahead of time if possible. Everyone is invited to this awesome study. Remember, there is no childcare available during the study. Communion and Ordinance of Humility Services ~ next Sabbath, Sept 30. How We Love Series ~ continues, Sunday, Oct 1 @ 10 am. Youth Vespers ~ look for details soon. Beason Family Mission Trip ~ Our family will depart on October 26, returning November 13 for the island nation of Cuba and sharing the gospel through VBS, health seminars and a 14-message reaping series in the city of Palmira, population about 14,000. Palmira is also ground zero for Santeria, the island's dominant religion of devil worship blended into Catholic tradition. Opening night is October 31, All Saints Day. Please keep our family in prayer as we share the love of our Father with His children there and for our spiritual protection, day and night. Heaven's Bounty ~ The Southern Singles Ministry (a division of the Conf Church Ministries) is operating a food pantry in Apison. The pantry serves 30-40 families each day it's open. We are in need of helpers in the following areas: • Putting food away in bins before the clients arrive (3-4 hour blocks) • Pick up/delivery from Food City (2 hrs, 1x a week, Sunday – Friday) Contact Linda Fore 423/322-7206 to help with this important ministry. THANK YOU ~ to those who have been donating books for the Hamilton County Jail Library. Nearly 1000 books have been received so far and the inmates have been checking them out regularly. Pray for God's continued blessing on this project that seeds will be planted and produce a harvest of souls for His kingdom. Pathfinder Fund Raiser ~ we will have our Aluminum Can Container to the right of the front door. Please gather and bring your cans to help us raise funds to plan ahead for expenses for the International Camporee. Thank you! Evening Anthem Vespers ~ is presenting Carlot Dorve, trumpeter, this evening, Sept 23, 6:30 pm at the Chattanooga First church. Come hear his amazing story and beautiful music as we close the Sabbath together. His books / CD's will be available after the program. Dinner With The Doctor ~ Monday, Sept 25 at 6 pm at the Chattanooga North River SDA church. Wrapping up the evening will be Mendelssohn’s “Symphony No. 5 in D major, op 107 ‘Reformation’” in commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
