Recruitment to the post of forest guard under directorate of forests, govt. of W.B.

NOTICE Reference Advertisement No. 4/2017/WBPRB Application are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for the post of Forest Guard under Directorate of Forests, Government of West Bengal having age between 18 and 32 years as on 01.01.2017 [relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC A/ OBC B applicants (of West Bengal only) and for Ex-servicemen as per existing orders/ rules of Government of West Bengal] having passed Madhyamik or equivalent Examination. Application forms may be submitted either through On-line or Off-line mode. The application window for submission of application forms through On-line will remain open for the period from 21.04.2017 to 19.05.2017. Off-line forms can also be downloaded during the above duration. The last date for receipt of filled in Application forms through Postal Services (Offline) is 19.05.2017 (05:00 PM). However, submission of On-line Application Forms under the United Bank of India (UBI) Challan Payment Mode remains open till 24.05.2017 (05:00 PM) due to technical reasons. Applicants must visit the websites of West Bengal Police (www.policewb.gov.in) or Department of Forests (www.wildbengal.com) to ascertain the eligibility criteria, method of selection, scheme of examination, procedure for submission of application form and other terms and conditions.

The selection process by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is transparent and purely merit-based.
