ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 5, 2018 The Whatcom County Public Works Department will close Hovander Road beginning at the 5300 block running to the junction with West Smith Road on Friday, April 6th for cleanup following a motor vehicle accident. This closure will be in effect on April 6th between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. This closure is in effect for ALL TRAFFIC, including emergency vehicles and school buses. Detour routes will be in place throughout the road closure. Please direct questions to Whatcom County Public Works, Maintenance and Operations at (360) 778-6400.
