Understanding your Alberta Works Grant Funding Were you authorized for Alberta Works Grant Funding? If your answer is YES, join us for an information session including: learner responsibilities, reporting changes to the government and how to ensure you are getting the maximum funding possible. NOTE: This session DOES NOT APPLY to Diploma program learners or learners with Student Loans. Writing TOWES (Test of Workplace Essential Skills) All students registered in a School of Business or School of Health, Justice & Human Services certificate or diploma program nine months or longer will write TOWES. This session will help you understand more about workplace essential skills and their importance for your success at school and at work. TOWES is a credential that certifies your essential skills for employers and will be added to your transcript. Your Safety on Campus Being safe on campus is possible with a few easy tips. Understand what to do in the event of an emergency and learn preventative measures for your safety and security.
