You are invited to a Dementia Strategy Town Hall Discussion. Hosted by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the Windsor Town Hall is one of five meetings across Ontario as part of a public consultation process to inform communities about the dementia strategy document, Developing Ontario’s Dementia Strategy: A Discussion Paper, released on September 21, 2016. Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. hosted at the the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County located at 2135 Richmond St. (across from Walkerville High School). The Town Hall will give opportunity for community members to have their say on what is needed from an Ontario dementia strategy. The Town Halls will cover a range of topics including, how to better support people living with dementia and care partners, creating more coordinated and accessible services, enhancing skills of the dementia workforce, and identifying priorities in research and brain health.
