Purple Power Smoothie Ingredients:        “Change  For Change”

1 banana 1c blueberries 1/2 tsp lemon zest 1/4c oats (or 1 pkg instant) 1c lowfat milk 8 oz yogurt 1c kale 1c ice

Directions: 1. Place all ingredients in a blender. 2. Mix until smooth. 3. OK to add more ice to reach desired consistency. 4. OK to freeze banana ahead of time. (Remove peel before placing in freezer) 5. OK to freeze ahead of time the blueberries and/or yogurt for a creamier smoothie. 6. Ok to substitute other berries as desired. 7. Makes 4 cups.
