FlexCut Sticky SBB – Application Instructions Flex Film for Textile with Heavy Dye Migration Cut Mirrored

Commercial polyester textiles / fabrics are most commonly white and then dyed with a dispersion of sublimation dyes to change the color using heat beginning at 266°F / 130°C. This process allows the dyes to dissolve and bond to the polyester fibers. Depending on the process used, or the quality of the dye, colorants will reactivate, “becoming active”, when exposed to high heat again, i.e. when heat pressing a graphic transfer.

FlexCut Sticky SBB was formulated with a proprietary Sublimation Blocking Barrier to prevent sublimated dyed inks from migrating through to the first surface, preventing staining, of our heat transfer material after transferring.

Tatoo – Application Instructions Tatoo Transfer Recommendations That Have Yielded Positive Results! Tatoo should be cut with a 30 or 45 degree "sharp" blade at approximately 50 to 80 grams of down force. If you are using more down force than 80 grams, change your blade out for a new one. We recommend that you always do a test cut before starting a production. A dull blade will make for more difficult weeding and transferring of a graphic. For Information on cutting tips, you can visit our company‘s Blog: (http://sefamericas.blogspot.com), for articles / bulletins, i.e. Plotter Cutting Heat Transfer Films Procedure for masking and peeling of graphics from the carrier as follows: 1. Wait at least 30 minutes for the printed graphic to dry before applying the transfer tape. Drying could take longer based on ink density, the ambient temperature and humidity in the shop. 2. Apply the transfer tape and allow 15/30 minuntes for the transfer tape to set up. Adhesives build over time. 3. Before peeling the graphic, re-squeegee the graphic firmly, then with the graphic laying on the table "image facing up" (see pictures), lift the transfer tape up and away from the liner / carrier. If the transfer tape picks the graphic up OK at 15/30 minutes dwell time, you can shorten the waiting period.

15-Graffiti App. Instr. v6 081515

Graffiti – Application Instructions Graffiti Transfer Recommendations That Have Yielded Positive Results! Graffiti should be cut with a 30 or 45 degree "sharp" blade at approximately 50 to 80 grams of down force. If you are using more down force than 80 grams, change your blade out for a new one. We recommend that you always do a test cut before starting a production. A dull blade will make for more difficult weeding and transferring of a graphic. For Information on cutting tips, you can visit our company‘s Blog: (http://sefamericas.blogspot.com), articles / Bulletins, i.e. Plotter Cutting Heat Transfer Films Procedure for masking and peeling of graphics from the carrier as follows: 1. We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes for the printed graphic to dry before applying the transfer tape. If the transfer tape picks the graphic up OK with a 15/30 minutes dwell time, you can shorten the waiting period.

Garment Care: Wait 24 hours before first washing, wash & dry garment inside out, machine wash & dry at low temperatures, see specification, “Wash Resistance” use mild detergents, No Chlorine, do not dry clean Flex; Flock OK.

Store SEF Heat Transfer Materials in a cool and dry place; protect against the influence of light when stored. We recommend not to exceed a storage period of 24 months.
