Prairie High School Media Center
MAY 3 @ PRAIRIE HIGH COPING WITH ADOLESCENT STRESS & DEPRESSION
Free training for parents who want to help prevent youth suicide. Participants will learn how to recognize the risk factors and warning signs for depression and suicide and what to do if you think your child may be at risk. This workshop also helps parents understand that children/teens watch adults more than they listen to them and that what adults do to handle their own stress makes a difference. Modeling coping skills is a great way to teach teens this lifelong practice. No RSVP required.
You can help support the youth in your life by educating yourself on vital issues that concern them.
