Range Assignment: 08 Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent • Ability to interact with students and staff in a positive manner • Ability to consistently implement school policies/rules, etc… • Maintain confidentiality in dealing with students and staff • Perform job-related tasks with a minimum of supervision

Job Goal:

Enhance the safety and security of students and staff at the high school by monitoring the parking lot, grounds, and halls. Assist in supervision of students and implementation of attendance and discipline policies

Performance Responsibilities: (essential job functions) • Monitoring the halls, parking lot and grounds • Monitoring visitors’ access to the high school • Monitoring students entering and exiting campus • Supervising students throughout the day • Contacting students regarding their assignments to after-school suspension • Receive First-Aid training • Adheres to all district health and safety guidelines, including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan • Punctual and maintains regular attendance • Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: In a work day, employee may stand/walk 7-8 hours; spend 6-7 hours outside, may bend, squat, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 35 pounds.

Terms of Employment: Probationary period as noted in Bargaining Agreement. Salary and work year according to current schedule. Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
