If you can participate, you must wear black or fluorescent colored clothes. If you do not have those colors, you can wear your spirit wear. We hope that you join us.
● Mrs. Hudock’s class is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House this year. They will be collecting pop tabs all year, and they can be turned in to your first period teacher or to the BMS office. Mrs. Hudock’s class is trying to collect 5000 tabs by Christmas, so bring in those pop tabs to help the Ronald McDonald House, a nonprofit organization which supports families whose children receive treatment at area medical centers by providing a home-like environment and essential resources and services. ● Please remember to check the Lost and Found table outside the office if you have lost any items. The table will be cleaned off every couple weeks, so please be sure to check the table frequently. If you have lost small items like keys, jewelry, or glasses, see Mrs. Kornbau in the office. ● Reed Memorial Library is holding a “Fall Images” Teen Art Contest from now through September 30th. Teens may submit up to five original photographs or drawings for display in the library. This is a great opportunity to show off your artistic skills! Artwork must be submitted by September 30th to Reed Memorial Library. Stop in the BMS office for an entry form if interested. ● Attention all BMS students: This Friday is the first home Ravenna High School football game. It is against Kent Roosevelt. Although we encourage all BMS students to attend the home football games and show your pride in your school, we do have some important rules that must be followed: - All BMS students are required to sit in the BMS student section, which is at the scoreboard end of the the home bleachers. The only exceptions will be if students choose to sit with their parents/guardians instead. - No BMS students will be permitted to congregate under the bleachers at anytime during the game. Students are permitted to go to the restroom and concession stand and then must return to the student section in the bleachers. BMS students who fail to comply with these rules will be removed from the stadium and parents/guardians will be called to come and pick you up. Also, any students needing to be removed from an after school event should expect to be placed on Social Probation, which will bar you from attending all afterschool activities for a period of 30 or 60 days. You can read about Social Probation on page 20 of your student planner.
