Dan. 8:13-14. How long shall be the vision concerning the DAILY, and the TRANSGRESSION OF DESOLATION, to give both the Sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto 2300 days: then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. The 2300 days commence with the 70 weeks, at the going forth of the decree of Artaxerxes to restore and build Jerusalem. Dan. 9:25. Ezra ch. 7:12-26 verses. This decree went into effect after Ezra had delivered the kings commissions unto the governors, before Christ 457. ch. 8:36.
