io
These instructions are for the use of qualified individuals specifically trained and experienced in the installation of this type equipment and related system components. Installation and service personnel are required by some states to be licensed. Persons not qualified shall not attempt to install this equipment nor interpret the instructions.
Unlatch all four top latches and raise top to full height. Open trailer to full set-up position.
2.
Locate and remove the built in cooler from refrigerator compartment. Remove interior paneling section from rear of refrigerator compartment.
3.
Using dimensions in Figure 1, cut holes in roadside panel for refrigerator vents.
pe r
So
1.
am
Do Not Oversize Opening Or Radius Corners.
4.
Locate refrigerator 12 volt DC wires in opening behind panel removed in step 3 and route into refrigerator compartment and lay aside. Refrigerator 12 volt DC wires can be identified as follows:
C
14 gauge black with green tracer = (+) 12V DC 14 gauge white = (-) 12V DC
5.
Install the corrugated wire cover over the Romex wires in the refrigerator compartment.
6.
Install 18 3/4" toe mold on bottom of lower galley top along both sides of the refrigerator opening. Attach with 3/8" screws provided. Select the correct baffles from kit (baffles will be labeled) and attach the 19 5/8" toe mold to bottom of both baffles. (Orient the molding flange toward refrigerator opening.)
7.
Choose the baffle closest to the receptacle. Install the 5" x 5" wood block to the backside of the baffle directly to the rear of the Romex hole. You may attach the wood block using two (4745-396) screws. Insert top of baffles in plastic trim installed in step 6 and screw bottom trim to the floor with 3/8" screws provided. Install the 1" black plug into the Romex hole of the opposite baffle. Make sure to thoroughly silicone around the lip of the plug before inserting into the baffle Romex hole.
8.
Route 12 volt wires through small round hole in side baffle and into the refrigerator compartment.
9.
Align the receptacle 1 ½" behind the Romex hole in the baffle. Screw the receptacle to the baffle making sure to make contact with the 5" x 5" wood block installed in step 7.
10.
Using the caulking provided, caulk around all wire access holes and along the top and bottom of each side baffle.
11.
Using the measurement provided in step 2, drill a 1 1/8" gas line hole through the trailer floor.
warning
Before drilling gas line hole, check underside of trailer to ensure clearance from gas lines and water lines.
12.
Route gas line through hole drilled in step 11. Place escutcheon around gas line and staple to trailer floor.
13.
Locate the wood wire cover with Styrofoam spacer and staple to the bottom of the lower galley top.

14.
Place foam sealant tape along the top side of refrigerator, centered from front to rear, and slide the refrigerator into the compartment until flush with galley front and place 19 3/4" wood strip under rear flange of refrigerator.
15.
From the exterior of the trailer, mark and drill a 1 ½" hole through the trailer floor. The hole should be located just to the left of the lower refrigerator mounting flange.
warning
Before drilling the gas vent hole, check the underside of the trailer to ensure clearance from gas lines and water lines.
16.
Place the mesh screening provided over the gas vent hole and attach with staples.
17.
Attach refrigerator to galley front with six 1114B816 screws provided.
18.
From outside the trailer, place insulation around the top and sides of the refrigerator to provide an air barrier between the refrigerator and the side baffles. Then install the air deflector angle to the top of the compartment. Make sure that the angle is facing down and toward the outside of the trailer. Slide the other end under the insulation above the refrigerator. Screw the air deflector angle to the wire cover in the top of the compartment using one (4745-396) screw.
Do not allow the insulation to rest on the refrigerator cooling unit coils or block the refrigerator flue.
Place the two luan strips (4754D456) between the rear refrigerator flange and the 19 3/4" wood strip in the floor. Attach the refrigerator to the 19 3/4" wood strip and luan strips using the two 2" pan head screws provided.
20.
Connect the 12 volt DC wires to the refrigerator power connection as follows: Black wire with green tracer to + 12V DC White wire to - 12V DC

19.
Plug refrigerator 110 volt AC plug into receptacle located in refrigerator compartment.
22.
Connect gas line onto refrigerator gas fitting and tighten.
23.
From underside of trailer, cut existing gas line and place a flare nut over each cut end. Flare the gas line and install flared tee.
24.
Attach refrigerator gas line to flared tee and tighten.
io
21.
warning
lu t
Never use sealant tape on flare connections as gas leaks may result and fire or explosion could occur.
Measure from the floor up each side of the baffle 11 1/4" and mark location to install heat deflector. Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill two holes through each 4 1/4" piece of toe molding.
26.
Slide the 4/14" toe mold over each end of the heat deflector baffle. Holding baffle in place, at approximately a 25 degree angle, drill two a 3/16" holes in each side baffle. Attach with expanda rivets. See figure 3. Install a bead of caulking along the top and bottom flange to hold in place while in transit.
27.
Remove the interior section of the outside vent. Install butyl tape around vent framework, allowing approximately 1/4" overhang at the outer edge of the vent frame. This application will need to be performed on both vent frames. Install vent frames in cutout openings.
am
pe r
So
25.
Be sure vent frames are installed in the proper manner. The locking tab openings should be located at the bottom.
Install the long horizontal vent brackets, top and bottom (two per cut opening) on the bottom cutout. Install one long horizontal vent bracket on the bottom of the top cutout. Install so the 1/4" lip touches the interior of outer body panel. Align with holes in outer vent frame and attach with 4733A431, 1" Phillips Tek Screws.
29.
Install the small vertical vent brackets so the lip rests flush on the interior of the outer body panel. Install three small vent brackets at the top of the upper cutout. Install in the same manner as used in step 27.
30.
Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill four holes in the corners of the plastic vent frames making sure to pierce the outer body panel. Install 5/8" Arctic White Phillips Head screws in each vent frame corner.
C
28.
Note: Allow vent frames approximately 10 minutes before trimming excessive butyl tape
warning
Check all gas connections for leaks by applying pressure to gas supply line and test using a soapy solution. Never use a match or open flame to check for leaks as fire or explosion could occur.
31.
To operate refrigerator, refer to the operation manual packed within the refrigerator. Function check 12, volt, 110 volt, and LP system for proper operation.
