Tournament Rules 1)

All games will be 7 innings

2)

10 run rule applies after 5 innings (including Championship game)

3)

Time limit - No new inning to start after 2 hours 30 minutes have elapsed from first pitch (except Championship game). If game is tied at the end of time limit, the game will continue until a winner is decided (no ties).

4)

There will be three divisions of 3 teams. It will be a round robin format within your division on Friday and Saturday. Championship bracket includes all #1 and #2 seeds. Bracket will be arranged so teams from the same division are not matched up in the quarterfinals or semifinals. All #3 seeds will each play each other in 3 consolation games.

5)

Seeding for Championship round will be determined as follows: A) Won/Loss Record within division (if all teams could not complete all four games due to rain etc, based on winning %). B) Head to Head C) Runs Allowed D) Runs Scored E) Coin Flip

6)

Home team will already be established on schedule for all round robin games. Bottom team is home in championship bracket. Coin flip will determine home team in consolation games. Walla Walla will use the 3rd base dugout at WWCC & Borleske for all games and the 1st base dugout at Murr Sports Park. Other than that, the home team uses the 3rd base dugout when possible.

7)

No Infield allowed. All facilities have batting cages and room to take flyballs/groundballs prior to the game.

8)

Any player ejected from play must sit out the next tournament game his team plays (does not apply to coaches).

9)

The DH may bat for any player in the lineup.

10)

Courtesy runner for the catcher only (any time - optional). Please have a backup catcher ready to warm up pitcher.

11)

All other American Legion Baseball rules will apply.

12)

The Tournament Committee's decisions will be final.
