Data review per student with emphasis on at risk students/economically disadvantaged students. PLC’s to discuss, plan and implement interventions for at risk and economically disadvantaged students in all subject areas including science and writing. Report of Violent or Criminal Incidents Campbell ISD had no reports of violent or criminal incidents for the 2015-‐16 school year. Some preventative measures that the school has taken and procedures that are followed to prevent or intervene violence include the following: Ø Staff awareness of bullying identification and prevention Ø Counseling, Reports, Policies, and Procedures addressing bullying Ø Staff awareness of and compliance training in areas such as sexual harassment identification and prevention and student privacy policies Ø Staff supervision and visibility on campus and during school activities Ø Use of updated forms and parental contact information to control adult access to students and their information Ø Controlled access to school facilities by securing all exterior doors Ø Awareness and practice of established crisis lock down procedures Ø Disciplinary procedures for addressing inappropriate behaviors that could possibly lead to violent or criminal acts Ø Staff awareness of confronting visitors Ø Classrooms are numbers to match campus map Ø Substance and weapon free zone signs are posted Ø Signs are displayed directing visitors to the office to sign in Ø Classroom doors remain locked and are blocked open with a magnet to allow staff to secure the doors during lockdown situations Ø Administrators have key access to all doors Ø Additional security cameras Ø Improved exterior lighting In 2014, CISD had a security audit in accordance with the Safe and Drug-‐Free Schools and Communities Act. The findings of this report indicated CISD campuses are sufficiently safe and adequately protected. The district will continue to address issues such as perimeter security fencing, facility and grounds cleanliness and maintenance, crisis and access procedures, and emergency management procedures, guidelines, goals, timeframes and deadlines. The ISD is due for another security audit prior to August 2017.
