Goliad Elementary Kindergarten Registration for 2015-2016 102 W. High Street – Goliad, TX 361-645-3206 Students who are 5 years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year and are eligible to attend a public school are entitled for enrollment in Goliad ISD. Students must reside within the attendance boundary of Goliad County and provide satisfactory evidence of required immunizations. Nonresident students may apply for transfer to Goliad ISD based upon the criteria set forth in the Goliad ISD Policy. Kindergarten registration will be in Room 1 in the Kindergarten wing at the Elementary School campus as follows: Students whose last name starts with the letters A – D: Wednesday, May 13th, 8:00-11:30 am; Students whose last name starts with the letters E – J: Wednesday, May 13th, 1:00-3:30 pm; Students whose last name starts with the letters K – R: Thursday, May 14th, 8:00-11:30 am; Students whose last name starts with the letters S – Z: Thursday, May 14th, 1:00-3:30 pm. A Parent/Legal Guardian MUST enroll the child in Kindergarten. Please bring all required documentation and allow at least one hour to complete the paperwork. To enroll a child in Goliad ISD, it is the responsibility of the parent/legal guardian to provide the following documents to the school. (Furnishing false information is a criminal offense under Penal Code 37.10) o
Proof of Residency: Property Tax Record/Receipt; Current Rent Receipt; Current Voter Registration Document; Current Utility Bill; or other documentation providing acceptable proof of residency.

Enrolling Parent/Legal Guardian’s Photo Identification: A valid Driver’s License w/current address, Military ID, or State Issued identification Card.

Certified Copy of Student’s Birth Certificate: A student under 11 years of age and is enrolling in school for the first time, per Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 63.019, shall provide a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate.

Student’s social security card or State ID
o
Student Driver’s License (if applicable)

Student’s Current Immunization Records: A student is required to be fully immunized against certain diseases. A student who is not fully immunized and has not begun the required immunizations may not attend school except as provided by in TEC, 38.001(c).

School Records: If the student attended or was served by a public School in the prior year(s), provide a copy of the student’s school records. Please provide all documentation related to special programs such as Speech, Gifted & Talented, Special Ed, ELL/LEP, Bilingual, Migrant, etc. your child may have been served prior to enrollment at Goliad ISD.

Any Court Orders, in existence that pertain to the child (as applicable)
