Extra-Curricular Participation Rates

The Lac du Flambeau School District receives impact aid funding in lieu of property taxes for serving for children who live on non-taxable Indian lands. One of the requirements of receiving impact aid is to annually assess the extent to which Indian Children participate on an equal basis with non-Indian children in the district’s programs and activities. The following chart show the participation rates of for children from different races in the extracurricular programs offered at Lac du Flambeau. Under the category of “two or more races”, the child is typically Native American and at least one other race. Since almost all of our students are Native American almost all student participating in our program are Native American.
