PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Jai Jinendra, I would like to thank everyone who came to the February program and I hope everyone enjoyed the games and activities hosted by the Executive Committee and volunteers. Parents, who are interested in youth classes for their children, please email me so I can get an accurate count of children attending. So we can move forward with the program objectives and monthly schedule. Also we are trying to invite Samniji for at least two months during the summer time. This year Samniji will be focusing on the youth and will guide our youth in the right direction and increase their knowledge about Jainism. I highly encourage youth from age of 5 to 40 to attend these lectures. I will provide more information in next newsletter. As you know that spring is about to come and its time to plant some trees. So, this year we are planning to plant some trees at mandir. This action will help make our temple more beautiful. We request each member of our center to plant at least 1 tree and help our center physically and financially. Picture is shown below. President, Jay Patel

REMINDER A request from the EC of 2016, please RSVP for all the programs. If your RSVP was a yes and for some reason you think you can't make it to the program, change your RSVP to no ahead of time, so we can have a perfect count of people coming and our Swamivatsalya sponsor doesn't have to worry about providing more or less lunch/dinner for the program. This will help us stop wasting food at the temple because the Swamivatsalya sponsor doesn’t know how much food to make because of inaccurate RSVP count. The leftover food has to be wasted which is a sin in our religion and should be avoided at all cost. Please think of the Swamivatsalya sponsor and how much they do for us when you RSVP.
