TUITION POLICY Tuition and other fees are required for Montessori School of Louisville to successfully fulfill our mission. Parents commit to promptly meeting financial obligations and agree to comply with the following tuition policy: • Monthly tuition payments are made to FACTS Tuition Management via bank transfers or credit/debit card payments. The annual registration fee is approximately $43 per family. If payments are made via credit/ debit card, FACTS will charge a convenience fee of 2.75%. •
Withdrawals by May 31st - Enrollment deposit is forfeited. Withdrawals between June 1 and June 30 - 1/10 of tuition is owed. Withdrawals between July 1st and July 31th - 2/10 of tuition is owed.

If enrollment is canceled after July 31st, the financially responsible party is obligated to pay the full tuition & fees. If a student withdraws as of August 1st, one year’s tuition plus fees are due, since the hiring of staff and the ordering of classroom materials and resources are based upon anticipated enrollment. Student records will not be released until the account is paid in full. Parents will be expected to honor their full year’s commitment to the school. Requests for exceptions must be addressed in writing to the Finance Committee Chair and will be considered only in extreme circumstances.

If tuition becomes two months past due, student attendance will be prohibited until payments due to MSL are current.
NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY As a matter of policy and philosophy, Montessori School of Louisville’s hiring, admission, and operating procedures are non-discriminatory in terms of race, color, religion, gender, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or disability.
EXTENDED CARE ENROLLMENT Montessori School of Louisville offers extended care for currently enrolled students as a service to parents who require care for children outside of the regular school hours. Families requiring extended care on a consistent basis should complete an Extended Care Contract. Availability for Extended Care is not guaranteed to students without an Extended Care Contract.
DROP-IN CARE & BILLING Drop-In extended care requires 24-hour notice and will be subject to space availability. Students remaining after regular dismissal time will be sent to the Extended Care program, and parents will be billed accordingly.
TUITION ASSISTANCE Tuition assistance awards are based upon a family’s need as determined by analysis provided by FACTS Tuition Management. Each award is made for one year only, and award amounts are based upon available tuition assistance funds. Application information can be obtained by contacting the school office at (502) 640-8585. Priority for tuition assistance awards is placed upon student retention and growth of upper level programs. Typically, awards range between $500 - $4,500 for the school year.
APPEAL FROM THE HEART The cost involved in operating Montessori School of Louisville significantly exceeds the amount that is charged in tuition and fees. In order for our school to offer quality programming to our current community while expanding our program to serve others, we ask that you support the mission of our school with a contribution to the Annual Fund, Appeal from the Heart. These contributions are tax-deductible (MSL is a 501(c)(3) organization EIN 20-4212134), can be paid in installments and can be added to existing FACTS Tuition Management contracts. A $250 Annual Fund contribution would equal $20.84 per month for 12 installments.
