School  of  Choice  and  Tuition  Students         New  Buffalo  Area  Schools  Tuition  rates  shall  be  determined   and  approved  annually  by  the  Board  of  Education  by  May  1  of   each  year.     Tuition  for  the  2016-­‐2017  School  Year  is  $5,000  per  student.   Taxpaying  property  owners  in  the  District  of  New  Buffalo  Area   Schools,  who  are  not  residents,  or  students  having  in-­‐district,   taxpaying  grandparents,  may  request  a  fifty  percent  ($2500)   per  student  to  the  Board  of  Education.
