2017 Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty T-Shirt Design Competition Rules & Guidelines The 2017 T‐shirt Design Contest is a special feature of this year’s Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride. The winning design will be featured on the 2017 Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride shirts given out to riders and volunteers. One first-place winner will receive $100 cash. Entries must be received on or before 11:59 pm EST on Friday, June 23, 2017. See details below for contest rules and guidelines.

Entrants may email Brianna Lawson at [email protected] to request an EPS, AI, or JPG format copy of the Official Six Gap Century logos to use in their design. Eligibility:  Competition is open to all riders, friends, families, etc.  Entries must be submitted by e‐mail with a completed and signed entry form.  There is no limit to the number of entries per person. Submit as many designs as you like!  All entries must be received on or before 11:59 pm EST on Friday, June 23, 2017, and must be in compliance with design guidelines.  Submissions may be submitted as PDF, JPG, or PNG format.  Winner must submit final version in EPS or AI format (fonts converted to outlines, please) no later than Friday, July 14, 2017. Design Guidelines:  Each entry must incorporate the phrase “Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride”, the ride date in any format (ie: 09/24/17, September 24, 2017, 9.24.17, etc.), and the phrase “29th Annual” in the design.  Each entry is limited to four (4) color design. Shirt color will be up to the committee based on the design chosen, but recommendations from the artist will be taken.  Technical Specifications: Design must be intended for placement on the front of a t‐shirt.  Format: Submissions may be submitted as PDF, JPG, or PNG format.  Winner must submit final version in EPS or AI format (fonts converted to outlines, please).  Artwork may also be executed actual size in other media such as acrylic, watercolor, prints, etc. Designs must measure no larger than 12 inches by 12 inches. All artwork must be original and appropriate for public display. The t‐shirts will be screen printed with the winning design. Awards: One first‐prize winner will be selected from among all contest entries. The first‐prize winner receives:  $100.00 Cash  Winner’s design featured on 2017 Six Gap Century & Three Gap Fifty Bike Ride shirts given out to riders and volunteers  4 complimentary 2017 Six Gap Century shirts  Recognition of winner and winning design on www.6gap.com and social media Rules: The Six Gap Planning Committee, a committee of the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce, will determine the winning entry from a review of all eligible entries received by the deadline. The committee’s decision will be final.

By submitting a design, entrant:  Affirms that the design is the entrant’s own creative work and that the entrant has not used any design or intellectual property belonging to any third party to create this entry.  Recognizes the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce’s right to edit or modify the design at its discretion in any way the Chamber deems appropriate.  Consents to the use of entrant’s name and picture and other identifying information in connection with the competition.  Understands that in the event no design is deemed appropriate by the committee, a winner will not be chosen.  Understands that the entry will not be returned.
