SUMMER EMPLOYMENT Our mission is to inspire high-potential youth from risk filled environments to pursue personal success, to prepare them for leadership roles in college, work, and community and to motivate them to become role models for others. We prepare youth with the skills they need to succeed by engaging them in challenging, fun, and intentional experiences. Our curriculum focuses on leadership development through intensive outdoor experiences, community service and social advocacy training, and college access programming. As a staff member at C5 Georgia, you’ll play an essential role in promoting leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and independence. You will develop your own leadership skills and grow personally through quality training, challenging activities, and insightful coaching. Expect to develop team building and facilitation skills!

C5 Georgia’s summer home is just 2 hours north of Atlanta, GA and 45 minutes away from Chattanooga, TN. Located in scenic Cloudland, GA, the 900-acre camp offers experiences a world away from life in the city. All positions are residential; benefits include competitive salaries, meals, room + board, and two weeks of paid staff training.

Waterfront Specialist | 21+ | $2100+ (Lifeguard Cert required) Manages skill-building progressions; connects activities to outcomes; monitors safety; abides by established procedures; assists with 24-hour operations. Outdoor Adventure Specialist | 21+ | $2100+ (WFA preferred) Requires proficient outdoor skills; engages youth in planning and leading trips up to 5 days (mountain biking, hiking, outdoor cooking, LNT, orienteering); connects experiences to C5 objectives; assists with 24-hour operations.
Program Instructor | 21+ | $2000+ Leads students literally and figuratively through the wilderness; connects outdoor experiences to those on a college campus and in the community; assists youth in advocacy exploration; facilitate discussions and provide supervision. Nurse | 21+ | DOE (LPN minimum requirement) Monitors health and wellness; distributes medication; manages emergency and non-emergency health issues; on-site and accessible 24-hours per day ; establishes systems, orients staff; conducts health screenings; controls inventory; assists with 24hour operations.
