2D Art All artwork must be the original, unaided and recent work of the artist. Copies of other works will be rejected. All adult entries must be for sale. Youth entries –sale optional. Youth sections: Age 13 & under; 14-18 years. Up to six 2D Art in any medium and/or six Photographs/Digital Art entries may be submitted. All 2D Art entries must fit the topic “FROM TANJIL VALLEY TO BAW BAW”, OPEN TOPIC for “Little Treasures”- (Max size 12”x12”/ 30cm x 30cm. incl. frame); Youth Art 14-18. “What Makes me Happy” -13 & Under (2D/3D). Adult 2D entries may be any representation of the Tanjil Valley-from Tanjil South to Mount Baw Baw and may include vistas, farm life, flora, fauna, waterways, portraits of locals, human activities, buildings, machinery etc. Entries that do not fit the topic will not be hung. Previous entries will not be accepted.

All entry forms MUST be received by Monday 21st May 2018. Late entries will not be catalogued.

Age (Youth exhibitors only):

Entries must be delivered to the former Hill End School on Sunday 3rd June between 10 a.m. & 12 noon. Collection of sold and unsold work- Monday June 11th, 4p.m.-5.30p.m.

Independent judges will judge all entries according to the topic and their decision is final. Each entry can only win one prize with the exception of the People’s Choice Award, the Packers’ Prize, Zoe Buckingham and Iain McLean Awards.

Any damage to or loss of any exhibit, howsoever and whenever occurring and whether whilst in transit, on display, in storage or otherwise, shall be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor. The Tanjil Valley Art Show committee will take every care with exhibits but does not accept any responsibility for any

A non-refundable fee of $5 per item for adult 2D/creative dig. artwork and photograph will be charged and $2.00 for each u13 /youth art/photography/creative dig.artwork entry. Entry fee must accompany the entry form.

Photographs of artwork may be used for publicity purposes.

Work must be on durable material and framed ready to hang with picture wire or filament cord. Flat ‘D’ eyes only, NO SCREW EYES, NO STAPLED CORD. Smooth edged stretched canvas accepted without frames. Exhibits not suitably presented will not be hung and entry fee will not be refunded.

A receipt will be issued to each entrant upon delivery . This receipt (or other ID) must be presented to collect unsold entries.

Please write title, medium, location, price, artist or photographer’s name, age (if under 19) and address on the back of each exhibit.

The exhibitor shall pay 15% of the sale price of any sale as a result of the exhibition to the Tanjil Valley Art Show.

Photographs must be printed on photographic paper or quality surface (photocopies not accepted) and may be black and white, sepia or colour. Prints may be mounted or matted and if framed must have wire for hanging. Minimum print size 13cm.x18cm. (5”x7”) Youth Photography-10cm.x15cm. (6”x4”) excluding mount. Maximum, including mount/frame, 1 metre x 1 metre.
