Training and Public Talks Fund  PB Research Database      Cost: $10,000  Cost: $8,000      Create a fund to sponsor PB talks, briefings, and  Hire a part-time employee to compile research  trainings for local advocates. PBP staff will  articles and findings on the impacts of PB into  manage the fund and use it to bring out PB  existing databases like Participedia, for use by PB  experts to engage local groups and officials, and  advocates, researchers, and implementers. Website Guide for Local PB Initiatives    Cost: $6,000    What makes a good PB website? To make  creating a quality web presence easier for local  PB processes, we will create and distribute a  guide and branding materials for developing an  effective public PB website. This will help local  processes better share information, recruit and  support participants, and communicate impacts. 

PB for Organizations    Cost: $10,000    Develop a toolkit that organizations can use to  implement PB for their own budgets. Helping  organizations run their own PB processes will  empower their staff and community, and build  capacity and awareness for PB. This project will  enable other organizations to adapt the PB2  model that PBP has already developed. 

Photo Gallery of PB Projects    Cost: $5,000    Compile before and after photos of completed PB  projects, and create an online gallery that​ shows  how people have used PB to create change in  their communities. 

 

Organizing Toolkit Upgrade and Website    Cost: $10,000    Upgrade our 2014 Organizing for PB Toolkit, to help  people more effectively organize to win PB in their  community. Work with a writer and designer to  revise messaging, resources, and worksheets, and to  create a new webpage that walks visitors through  the toolkit and related multimedia.    

New Materials for PB in Schools  PB Awareness Campaign      Cost: $10,000  Cost: $10,000      Design new sample flyers, forms, ballots, and  Launch a PB awareness campaign focused on Google  promotional materials for PB in schools. Create  AdWords, using an existing $10,000 in-kind grant  templates that are more accessible and can be  from Google for free advertising. Target this  more easily translated into multiple languages.   campaign to communities currently operating or  advocating for PB processes, to raise the public  awareness and support necessary to grow PB.
