ENROLMENT INFORMATION Eligibility To be eligibility for enrolment for 2018 Prep, children must meet the requirements of enrolment as set out by Government legislation for the State of Victoria. The following guidelines apply: Prep students must be 5 years of age by April 30 of the year in which they begin school. A copy of the child’s birth and immunization certificates must be provided. A copy of the child’s baptismal certificate must be provided. A copy of a current driver’s licence, displaying current residential address. Enrolment Priorities In accordance with the Archdiocesan Enrolment Policy, St Peter’s School gives enrolment priority to baptised Catholic children who reside within the Parish boundaries. The order of priority is therefore: 1. Catholic children who are residents of the parish. 2. Catholic children who do not reside in the parish but are recognised as parishioners by the parish priest. 3. Catholic children from other parishes (for pastoral reasons). 4. Children from non-Catholic Eastern churches who reside in the parish. 5. Children from non-Catholic Eastern churches who reside outside the parish. 6. Other Christian children who reside in the parish. 7. Other Christian children who reside outside the parish. 8. Non-Christian children who reside in the parish. 9. Non-Christian children who reside outside the parish. NB. Application Form All parents/guardians enrolling their child/ren at St Peter’s School are required to complete the application for enrolment form and pay the nominated enrolment fee by the due date. Should you be successful, part of this enrolment fee will be deducted from Term 1 schools fees. All applications need to be in by Friday 31 March, 2017 at 1pm.
