[email protected] Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the ovulation rate due to the use of different time of hCG injection on superovulation dairy cows. Forty Friesian Holstein dairy cows were divided into four groups and injected with 0, 500, 750, and 1000 IU PMSG respectively. Five cows of each group were injected of 1500 IU hCG at the time of oestrus, and the other cows were injected o the same dose at the time of insemination. The result revealed that the number of ovulation was significantly increased (p<0.05) begin on 1000 IU PMSG dose in hCG injecting at the time of insemination compared to injecting at the time of oestrus.
