Authors Guide to Using EasyChair The submission and review of papers for the 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC will be managed through an online conference management system called EasyChair

The 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC Authors Guide to Using EasyChair The submission and review of papers for the 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC will be managed through an online conference management system called EasyChair. This system gives you the Author to complete control over your submission. You can upload your paper, change detail check on the review status of your paper etc using Easychair conference management system. If you have an EasyChair account from another conference, you can use that account for the 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC submission (go to section 2). If you do not have an EasyChair account, please go to setup an EasyChair Account.

Section 1. Create an Easychair account Step 1. Go to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=2ndpicump8thiscc or click Abstract Submission on the PIC website

Step 2. Follow the EasyChair instructions to create your account; you will be required to provide a captcha “secret word”.

Step 3. Enter the Captcha (shown at the below of page) to continue

Step 4. If the text is entered correctly, you will be taken to the Create an EasyChair Account form to enter your name and VALID email address. Then click Continue.

Step 5. The Account Application Received screen will appear confirming the receipt of your application. EasyChair will also send a confirmation email to the address provided. This email will be the corresponding email in the EasyChair system.

Step 6. You will receive an email from EasyChair with the subject “EasyChair login”. Follow the link provided in this email and use your secret word to create a username and password so that you can access your 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC account. It is possibly that Easychair email in your spam mail boxes but it’s not a spam email.

Step 7. Complete your profile

Section 2. Navigating within easychair When you login to your account you will be taken to the welcome screen; navigate by using the menu at the top of the screen. Step 1. Go to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=2ndpicump8thiscc or click Abstract Submission on the PIC website

Step 2. After login, click “enter as an author” to make a submission

Step 3. To make a submission, Select New Submission from the menu bar. You need to fill in the form by following onscreen instructions. Enter the details of corresponding author and other authors.

Important Note: - In Author-1 Do remember to ‘Click here to add yourself’ and you have to add all of research member/Author Step 4. Enter the title, abstract and keyword

Important Note : You should specify at least 3 (three) keywords Step 5. Select your research topic related to The 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC

Step 6. After complete all required fields, upload the full paper (optional) see step 7. Finally, click on submit button

Step 7. After the acceptance of the abstract (August, 7th 2017), the author can login in another time through the link https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=2ndpicump8thiscc and if the author has not submitted the paper during the abstract submission you can upload full paper through add file as shown below and the process should complete before September, 22th 2017.

Note : EasyChair sends an automated confirmation after a submission has been received, if you do not receive

this email then your submission has not been received. You can also login to your EasyChair account to check the status of your submission

Step 8. Page after successfully submit the abstract. Your paper will appear as The 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC Submission 1, use the menu on the right hand side of the screen to update information, update authors submit a new version or withdraw your submission.

Section 3. Changing the details of your submissions

Updating information about your submission 1. Select Update information from the right hand menu of the Submission screen 2. Fill out the following form 3. Check that your title and abstract are correct 4. Add up to 3-5 keywords 5. To update information about the submission, and press the "Update Information" button.

Updating author information for your submission 1. Select Update authors from the right hand menu of the Submission screen 2. Check that we have your correct details 3. Add or remove authors and update their details 4. Change the order of authors by selecting the “Reorder authors” button

Submitting your final paper 1. Select Submit a new version from the right hand menu of the Submission screen. 2. Note that the paper must be in MS Word format (.docx) and must be compliant with the formatting set out in The 2nd PIC-UMP & the 8th ISCC Authors Guidelines. 3. Select the file from your computer that you wish to upload 4. Submit your full paper for review by selecting the “Submit a New Version” button. 5. Your paper will automatically be sent to the appropriate review panel for assessment.
