Task Challenge #1 • Write a brief “All About Me,” script.

30hands Mobile is a storytelling app that allows you to easily create stories or presentations based on images. To create slides, you can take a picture in the app, add from the camera roll, draw a slide or download from Dropbox. You simply add your images and record audio. One nice feature is that each recording is separate for each image so you can edit one recording without having to rerecord the entire presentation. Videos can be published to the iPad’s camera roll and then uploaded to a video hosting site like Vimeo.

• Open the 30 Hands App and tap on “Skip this Step,” as you do not need to create an account or register. • Tap the + sign in upper right to create a new presentation. Name it “All About Us,” and tap the Add Slides button. • Take a picture of yourself or an avatar to represent you. • To add more slides, tap the Camera in the lower left corner and select, one of the four options. Note that you can even draw a slide. You may want to draw a title slide.

Continued • To reorder or delete your slides, hold your finger on one until the black x appears. Tap the x to delete or move a slide by simply dragging it. • Find the photo of yourself and tap on your picture.

INTEGRATION IDEAS

• Press the "record" button and read your script into the mic (just above the round camera on the iPad).

• Press the playback button in the lower right corner. Listen and re-record script if needed.

• Tap the word “Slides,” in the upper left corner to get back to the photos. • Pass the iPad to your partner for their turn to record. • When done, tap the arrow box in the upper right corner and save to your camera roll to upload later. @digichica
