Activity - Walsh 198-210 You are a historian who has been invited on to a talkshow about the ‘Roaring Twenties’. Your role is to try to debunk the positive myth of America in the 1920s. Prepare some notes to challenge the ‘Roaring’ view of the 1920s under the following headings: Women, Red Scare, immigrants, black Americans, Native Americans, monkey trial, KKK and organized crime. Explain the relevance of each heading and provide some evidence to support your point. Keep it brief; remember this is television and your opportunities to speak will be strictly limited.
