Business entities will be able to receive more than 600 types of services in one building, based on the one-stop-shop principle, - implementation of project of the Business House that is a significant part of the Government’s 4-point reform plan, has been launched today. Business House is a completely groundbreaking model based on the public-private partnership principle and ensures provision of the services by various ministries and state agencies in one space and through single e-platform. List of provided services include management of the state property and privatization; issuance of natural resource licenses and State Programs aimed at fostering of agriculture sector; services provided by the Entrepreneurship Development Agency within the frames of Program “Produce in Georgia”, as well as services provided by Partnership Fund, etc. Overall, the list encompasses more than 600 services provided by the state to the business and each of them will be available in one space. Revolutionary project that will change the landscape of interaction between the state and the business, - Prime Minister assessed the project. Representatives of the enterprises will be able to book the service in advance and receive it later on the spot. Information will be stored and during the visit to any other state agency the representative of the company will not have to resubmit the same information to receive the service in question. Georgia is hosting the first International Wine Tourism Conference organized by the UN World Tourism Organization (the UNWTO). Official opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili. The head of the Government thanked the Secretary General of the UNWTO Taleb Rifai for selecting Georgia to host this first UNWTO global conference on wine tourism and expressed hope to deepen the cooperation. “It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this first UNWTO global conference on wine tourism to Georgia, the birthplace of wine. I hope you enjoyed your time here in Tbilisi and were able to get a flavor of Georgia’s rich and vibrant culture. Over the coming days, you will have the opportunity to see more of our beautiful country and learn about the ancient traditions of wine-making, which date back some 8000 years. EU, Ukraine and Georgia universities, professors, students, public and private agencies working in the field of tourism, exchange accumulated experience with each other in this field. In the field of the common interests in education of the Batumi Maritime Academy and Cruise tourism development, Chairman of the Ajara Tourism Department, the Guides Association and the International Investors Association of Georgia signed a memorandum. The memorandum was signed by the deputy Rector of Batumi Maritime Academy Abdul Kakhidze, the director of Guides Association of Ajara Teona Zoidze, the Deputy Chief of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara Sopho Lazishvili and the Secretary General of International Investors Association of Georgia Osman Mzhavanadze. The aim of the memorandum is to promote the development of tourism and to implement joint educational projects.
