Ridgeview Technology Presents

3D Printing September 28 – October 2 @ 7:40 am – 8:15 am & during advisory 3D Printing Technology Camp will explore different free tools, such as Tinkercad and Blockify, which can be used to design 3D objects for printing. Student will choose at least one design to be printed on the district Dremel 3D printer. During the week we will study tips and tricks and learn about limitations when designing for a 3D printing. No experience is necessary! Camp classes will begin Monday, September 28th and will meet every morning that week in Lab 514. We will start working at 7:40 am and will continue until 8:15 and then again during advisory classes each day. (We will not meet during Monday’s advisory so we can participate in DEAR time.) Students are responsible for checking in with their Advisory Teacher each day so as not to be counted absent. To register for 3D Printing, please fill out this form and return the bottom portion to Mrs. Young in room 514 or the library. The 3D Printing Technology Camp is free but space is limited to the first 18 students who return their completed application. For more information contact [email protected]. 3D Printing is the first offering in a series of Ridgeview Technology Camps sponsored by the campus Instructional Technology Specialist.
