ANÁLISE COMBINATÓRIA: Princípio Multiplicativo

Neste estudo, vamos conhecer uma propriedade que nos permite encontrar o número de possibilidade de se organizar elementos de um mesmo conjunto, sem precisar construir a árvore de possibilidade. Agora, poderemos encontrar quantos são os modos de organizar os elementos do conjunto, sem nos preocupar em dizer quais são eles.

3. Quantos números de quatro algarismos distintos podem ser formados usando-se os algarismos 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 e 9?

Este caçulo poderia ser feito do seguinte modo, observe: Nº de bermudas x Nº de blusas 2x3=6 São seis modos diferentes, como havíamos obtido na arvore de possibilidades.

EXERCÍCIOS 1. Em certo colégio há três classes de 2º ano: No 2º A há 32 alunos; no 2º B há 30 alunos; e, no 2º C, há 26 alunos. Serão escolhidos 3 representantes do 2º ano para compor a coordenação de uma festa, sendo um de cada classe. De quantos modos diferentes poderão ser escolhidos estes representantes?

Como o número de resultado foi obtido por meio de uma multiplicação, dizemos que aplicamos o princípio multiplicativo ou Princípio Fundamental da Contagem (PFC).
