Guide for accessing your student’s 2016 STAAR Results This year, most student STAAR results will not be available until after school is over, so the district is giving you four options to access your student’s Confidential Student Reports (CSR). 1. If you have a previous year’s CSR, you can use your students Unique Access Code and birthday to access the Texas Assessment Data Portal. Current year results will be available June 15. See Accessing the Portal below. 2. If you do not have a previous year’s CSR, you can find your student’s Unique Access Code in Home Access Center (HAC) between June 15 and June 28. Then see Accessing the Portal below. Log into HAC > Click on the Registration Tab > Look for the TEA Portal Access Code under Other District Information Tab

3. If neither of the options work for you, then you may pick up a copy of your student’s CSR on Tuesday, June 21 at your middle school campus (8:00am-12:00pm) or at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex at 10211 W Parmer Ln, Austin, TX 78717 (7:30am and 5:45pm) or contact your child’s middle school to pick up on this date, June 21. 4. Contact your student’s middle school for assistance.

Accessing the Portal Access to the portal is provided through a Unique Access Code and the student’s birth date, as provided on the student’s Confidential Student Report (CSR). The Unique Access Code contains a combination of numbers and capital letters. The Unique Access Code must be entered exactly as it appears. The Unique Access Code is designed to stay with a student throughout his or her academic career. Follow the steps below to log in to the Student Portal. 1. Enter the following URL into a web browser. This will take you to the login page: http://txparentportal.emetric.net 2. Enter the student’s unique access code 3. Select the month, day, and year of birth from the drop down menu. The date of birth used for logging in must match the date of birth on the CSR (located in the top right corner, under the student’s name).
