Goal of the project  Create

an airplane that flies (without breaking) and doesn’t keep tapping the ground as it flies in circles.

A simple and light design would be able to fly better, thing wings to cut through the air

Inspiration

couldn’t decide on the wing design until I realized the more simple the better

A slanted straight cut wing was very simple to make and sand, it also allows the wing to go under the wings and provide lift

Airfoil design We made more of a “symmetrical” airfoil to push the air under the wing so the plane can get lift and fly

Finished project I

was absent all the other days so I do not have the dimensions  But I do know we cute about an inch of the win and that was it

Fly times We only had time for one test, the plane only got 7 inches off of the ground and bounced a lot, it took 3.45 seconds to make a complete loop

Barely, our plane bounced on the ground and took forever to take flight but once it took flight it only got 7 inches off of the ground

Did it fly?

Results Yes, our plane did make it off of the ground eventually
