This scholarship is to be awarded to a graduating Mt. Blue High School Senior that is planning to further their education. The recipient must have a parent or grandparent that has served in the armed forces. You may qualify under a deceased parent or grandparent if they were a member of the American Legion when they passed. This scholarship, in the amount of $250.00, will be awarded after the recipient has completed one semester of higher education, contacted the Farmington Post, and provided a copy of their grades. Attendance is not restricted to four year colleges. If the scholarship cannot be used in the academic year immediately following High School graduation, they will need to reapply for this scholarship.
