RE: AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE BUILDING ENVELOPE RENOVATIONS AT THE GRINNELL NEWBURG HIGH SCHOOL Todd: Based upon our conversation at our last meeting, we have prepared an amendment to our base agreement for the addition of the Vestibule as an alternate which modifies the Scope of Work of the project. We have talked with our team and we are ready to implement the additional scope as soon as you approve and authorize. This amendment is information about the increased Scope of Work for the alternate, and the corresponding professional fees.

ORIGINAL SCOPE OF WORK The agreement for the Building Envelope Renovations included the provisions for the design, plans, and specs for exterior work to replace the existing transite panels, insulation, windows, EIFS system, and exterior doors starting at the East entrance working around the South of the building and ending with the transite panels and windows on the West side of the building. The Architectural Fee for the base agreement is $52,900

AMENDMENT TO SCOPE OF SERVICES Design and construction administrative services for the addition of a new enclosed Vestibule to the East Entrance of the High School to help distinguish it as the Main Entrance to the High School. The addition is to be included as an alternate in the construction documents of the Building Envelope Renovation Project. This amendment addresses the additional services and fees described specifically to include the vestibule as an alternate.

COMPENSATION FEH Associates Inc. proposes to furnish the above services per the noted schedule below for a fee not to exceed $25,000 with a breakdown of individual items as noted.
