Asia Tax Symposium 2013

1.30 to 5.00 PM

Practical considerations for your tax risk management The increasing aggressiveness of tax authorities in collecting taxes in many Asian countries must be countered by continuously improving tax management. Tax directors need quick updates about brand new developments in the countries they handle, which include hard facts such as new laws and regulations, but also softer developments such as mere changes in the application of existing rules and attitudes of authorities. Our experts from the region will provide an update on the tax developments in their countries. They will provide snapshots of the focus areas the tax authorities are targeting during tax audits, including:    

Permanent Establishments and Withholding Taxes Indirect Taxes and Customs Tax Treaties and Exchange of Information Transfer Pricing and Anti-Avoidance Rules

There will be opportunities during our event as well as before or after to have one-on-one discussions with a country representative.
