How to report an absence through our toll-free number 1-866-490-7371​ If calling from the phone you have registered in Infinite Campus your students will automatically be associated with this number. If you are calling from a phone that is not registered in Infinite Campus you will be asked to enter the registered phone number by pressing the star key when prompted.

**Please remember to wait for the confirmation number at the end of the call.** 1. Call 1-866-490-7371 and press 3 to be transferred to our automated attendant. 2. You will hear a list of your students who are registered with the School District of Waukesha or you will be prompted to enter the phone number you have registered in Infinite Campus. Once a registered phone number is entered your students should be listed. 3. Once you have chosen the student you wish to excuse please choose a date or dates you wish to excuse them. Today, tomorrow, a single future date or multiple future dates. 4. You will then be asked to select the type of absence you are requesting. Full day, late, early departure or leave and return. If you are requesting a full day 1. You then will be asked to select a reason. Illness or Injury, appointment, vacation, hospital, other absence or college visit. 2. Your request will then be repeated and the program will ask your approval to send the absence to the school. If you are requesting a late arrival 1. It will ask you to enter a time your student will be arriving. You will enter the time using numbers only. For example 10:00 would be entered as 1000 and then press the # key to enter. 2. If the time entered is correct press 1 if not press 2. 3. You then will be asked to select a reason. Illness or Injury, appointment or other absence. 4. Your request will then be repeated and the program will ask your approval to send the absence to the school. If you are requesting an early departure 1. It will ask you to enter a time your student will be leaving school. You will enter the time using numbers only. For example 10:00 would be entered as 1000 and then press the # key to enter. 2. If the time entered is correct press 1 if not press 2. 3. You then will be asked to select a reason. Appointment, other absence or college visit. 4. Your request will then be repeated and the program will ask your approval to send the absence to the school. If you are requesting leave and return 1. It will ask you to enter a time your student will be leaving school. You will enter the time using numbers only. For example 10:00 would be entered as 1000 and then press the # key to enter. 2. If the time entered is correct press 1 if not press 2. 3. It will ask you to enter a time your student will be arriving. You will enter the time using numbers only. For example 10:00 would be entered as 1000 and then press the # key to enter. 4. If the time entered is correct press 1 if not press 2. 5. You then will be asked to select a reason. Appointment or other absence 6. Your request will then be repeated and the program will ask your approval to send the absence to the school.

If requesting multiple future dates 1. Enter the day of the month for the first date of the absence. The program will default to the current month. To confirm this date press 1. it will then say if you entered the wrong day press 2 or if you wish to enter a different month press 3. 2. If the date is correct it will prompt you to enter the last date of the absence. The program will default to the current month. To confirm this date press 1. it will then say if you entered the wrong day press 2 or if you wish to enter a different month press 3. 3. The system will only accept valid school days. Do not enter weekends or holidays 4. If you are reporting a pre-planned absence for multiple days you must also fill out our Pre-planned absence form to have the absence approved through your student’s administrator.
