At Home Study Guide For the week of June 7, 2015 John 11:25-26 Quick Review Jesus claimed in the book of John that He had equality with God and that He was God by saying He could resurrect the dead and He gave people eternal life. Is Jesus Christ really the Messiah? Is He truly the LORD; the Son of God?” People around the world can only draw three conclusions regarding the Person, Jesus Christ: (1) He was a Liar; (2) He was a mad man, a lunatic; or (3) He really is the Messiah, the LORD God! My Story Think about the people you are surrounded with on a daily basis; i.e., home, neighborhood, work, and recreation; who do they think Jesus Christ really is? Liar? Lunatic? LORD? Why?
What biblical evidence would you personally give to a person about Jesus Christ, someone who really doesn’t have an opinion or information about who Jesus truly is? How would you go about telling someone about why “YOU” think Jesus Christ is LORD? Explain. In today’s American culture is seems as though the name of Jesus is a lightening rod of controversy. Why do you think the name of Jesus is so censored, controversial, hated, and loathed by Americans?
