A Pattern by Barbara Smith, 2017 2 www.made-in-k-town.blogspot.de Pattern Notes:  The finer grid lines will be better visible when printed.  To use this pattern, you should be familiar with the c2c-technique. A good tutorial with instruction videos and further ressources can be found on http://thecrochetcrowd.com/corner-corner-graphghans-beginners-tutorial/  I always start in the bottom left corner and consider row number 1 and all other odd numbers as „up-rows“, row number 2 and all other even numbers as „down-rows“. That’s why I labelled the columns at the bottom with odd numbers and the rows on the left side with even numbers. This way I don’t have to draw lines and arrows to figure out my working direction, I just take a look at the graph and know where to start working. (The odd numbers continue on the right side bottom-up, the even numbers continue at the top from left to right, unfortunately I wasn’t able to figure out how to add those numbers in the program, I’m sorry!) If you start in another corner and/or use a different counting system, please ignore my numbering! Colors and Abbreviations:  Working with Stylecraft Special DK, I used the following colors: o Cream (c) o Sherbet (or blue, bl) o Saffron (s) o Walnut (or brown, br) o Spice (or orange, o) o Lemon (l)  As you can see, I sometimes used the official color name (Cream, Saffron, Lemon) for the abbreviation and sometimes the name of the colors as they appeared to me (Blue, Brown, Orange). It made sense to me when I wrote down the color sequence while working the pattern and I didn’t want to change it now.  Sometimes it’s possible to carry unused colors for a few blocks, and sometimes it isn’t (or it doesn’t look good), so I recommend you prepare several bobbins of each color, so that you’re able to switch easily when you have to change colors. You’ll definitely need two whole skeins (and better some more bobbins) of the background color Cream to work comfortably.
