We hope this is the beginning of a great school year for your student(s). Preparations are being made to make your child’s breakfast and lunch experience nutritious and enjoyable at all District #129 schools. Please share this memo with your child(ren) and retain it during the school year. Reduced lunches are free for 2015-16! MEAL PRICES FOR 2015-2016 $1.35 Breakfast, grades 8-12 (full price students) (Free breakfast is available to all K-Gr. 7 students for 15-16. Gr. 8-12 students with free/reduced benefits are also eligible to receive free breakfast.) $45.00 20-meal ticket, grades 5-12 ($2.25 per day) Low Lunch Balance notifications: $43.00 20-meal ticket, grades K-4 ($2.15 per day)  Monday the principals are notified $ .35 Extra ½ pint milk with lunch  Wednesday school reach calls go out to $ 3.50 Adult Lunch parents  Friday email notices go out to parents $ 1.80 Adult Breakfast PLEASE BE SURE TO UPDATE YOUR PHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES FOOD SERVICE PAYMENT OPTIONS  On-Line payments are available for Food Service Payments via credit/debit cards. On the School’s website, click on School Store, click on Food Service Program, click on Food Service Program again, Click on Food Service Program payments with JMC password, type in your payment amount, enter last name, enter your JMC password (located on the enrollment form in your child’s back to school mailing), click “Buy Now”.  Kitchen Staff will take payments and write you a receipt.  Food Service Office You may bring Food Service payments directly to the Food Service Office which is located in the Superintendent’s office in the Middle School.  Phone You may call the Food Service Office to make a payment over the phone, 269-8833.  Payment Plans – take advantage of monthly automatic payments taken out of your checking account each month. Please contact the Food Service Office located in the Superintendent’s office. (See form included in this letter).

STUDENT PIN NUMBERS Students, K through Grade 12, enter their pin number on a keypad, the students give their name to the cashiers; the cashier verifies the name, views the student’s account balance on the computer screen and enters the purchase. Students retain the same pin number until graduation; it is the student’s responsibility to memorize this number.

LACTOSE REDUCED MILK Lactose reduced milk is available to students for breakfast and lunch upon request. The child’s parent/guardian must send a signed and dated note requesting the lactose reduced milk for their child to the Food Service Director, Annette Derouin, e-mail [email protected].
